WRAPPED Studios’ residential art consultants transform everyday interior spaces into inspiring media.
The Sofia is a luxury condominium and apartment complex in the City West district of Los Angeles. Occupying a prestigious address on 6th Street just a few blocks from the city’s historic downtown core, The Sofia lies within close proximity to famous city attractions including the Staples Center, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and L.A. Live.
Given its high profile, the building’s management team at Holland Partner Group wanted to enhance the property’s appeal to upscale tenants, investors, and homebuyers. To that end, they engaged with our residential art consultants on a plan to add artistic flair to the building’s shared interior spaces.
After evaluating the defining characteristics of the property, our residential art consultants agreed that a location-specific approach would best serve the client’s goals. Together with our in-house artists and production professionals, they put together a plan for a colorful, energetic collection of wallcoverings. The impressive finished products now occupy multiple high-traffic interior spaces at The Sofia.
Specifically, the project combines elements of abstract and representational art. The finished collection speaks not only to The Sofia itself, but also to its surrounding urban environs. It invokes Downtown L.A.’s rich and fascinating history while paying homage to both instantly recognizable and lesser-known local landmarks.
