The Bluebird Market Hall is a newly constructed dining, retail, and event space in the outdoorsy Colorado municipality of Silverthorne. WRAPPED Studios proudly created a pair of large-format custom interior murals for the space at the request of its innovative builder, Milender White.
In developing a creative direction for the custom interior murals, our consultants and artists carefully considered the unique and defining aspects of not only the property, but also the region in which it lives. The surrounding area has a rich history in Gold Rush-era mining lore, while modern-day Silverthorne has become one of Colorado’s most popular outdoor recreation destinations.
Our team elected for a strategy that pays homage to the area’s historical story while highlighting its breathtaking natural beauty. The resultant artwork includes two custom interior murals, the first of which depicts a timberline mountain scene crisscrossed with ski lifts and mining shovels.
The second mural adorns the primary wall of the building’s main food hall. Bluebird Market is the first food hall of its kind in Summit County, Colorado, and its management group wanted a mural that promotes its branding while simultaneously asserting the space’s special character.
The resultant artworks ranked among our most successful projects of 2021.
