Alexan Aspect is a newly developed high-density luxury residence in the Orange County, California municipality of Fullerton. It was developed by Trammell Crow Residential, a Dallas-based property development firm with extensive interests in the multifamily market. Trammell Crow Residential recently approached our studio to commission a series of custom canvas paintings for Alexan Aspect’s elegant interiors.
More specifically, the client sought artwork that would advance Alexan Aspect’s profile as a stylish, trendy, and upscale lifestyle destination for young professionals. The property is particularly oriented toward the millennial generation, which informed our subsequent development of a highly successful collection of custom canvas paintings.
Our team began by conducting a site visit, taking in the visual details of the property and noting its unique and defining features. After extensive development and client consultations, our advisors then proposed a series of splashy, high-contrast artworks featuring abstract designs and a predominantly black-and-white color scheme. Our artists supplemented with occasional splashes of bold, vibrant color to offset the monochromal tones.
On the penthouse floor, we endeavored to create a particularly grand and awe-inspiring experience by contributing multiple large-format canvases. The final collection includes 37 custom canvas paintings along with four aluminum pieces for the fitness studio and mail room. The works perfectly achieve the client’s objectives and by successfully advancing the property’s branding profile.
